SPELLING BEE,  2010 dir: Sharon Bliss, Bliss Pictures, Knowledge Network.  Spelling Bee is part of a set of short films celebrating First Nation language and is aired on the Knowledge Network.  Ta’Kaiya plays Raven, a  little girl who falls asleep and dreams she is in a Spelling Bee. This Spelling Bee requires its young contestants to be able to spell (Linguistic symbols included!) words from over 30 distinct First Nation languages and/or dialects.
